I will continue my pattern of making my comments in italics.
And quoting scripture in straight text.
It has been several weeks since I have added a document to “BLOG”, therefore I want to do that today.
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit in Washington from July 9th to August 6th. Washington and North Idaho are where I spent the years of 1969 - 1991, so it is always a special “home visit” when I go again.
Now I want to continue to share the direction God has been leading me most recently: I can't claim as Paul did - suffering all they did but not despairing...
2 Corinthians 4:8 KJV
“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair…”
However, when I began my healing journey, following a couple of years of the psychotherapy begun in 988, I found it very healing to begin to make drawings of progress in my journey.
Here are 3 of my drawings done in the late 90’s, while sheltered in a safe home with 2 single working women, following my surgery for cancer of the uterus in 1993..
This one is to express the feeling of floating aimlessly, yet the light of Christ keeping me, while journeying to be set free from the black despair of the imprisonment of being tied to abuse...:
Psalm 139:8 KJV
...if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

This one is becoming the jewel God is making us to become:
Malachi 3: 16-17… Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels…

The conclusion is to be in His hand alone.

In bonds of love,

Hi Claudia, I enjoyed reading this today. And especially the drawing of a jewel in God's hand. Thanks for this! ~ Bev
