COLLECTING LOVE ALONG LIFE’S WAY

Predominantly, this will be a collection of photos of people!!

Who have kept love alive in my soul in spite of

the abuse accumulated through the years.


Oh, this album will become a “record” of love…

of “being loved”

“with everlasting love”

And the journey of growing into being able to receive love -

the victim’s forever “challenge”, yes?


Here are pictures of two homes who kept me living -

and believing in God through their love during that first year as a minister…

The mother, Ellen, the “center” of this photo

“mothered” me with tender understanding.


I also “found a friend” in her sister, Emma Raun.


When I got revealed as the whistleblower of Bob Ingram in 1989,

(3 others joined me in sharing their stories; but their names were never revealed publicly.),

Emma sent me a beautiful letter (hard copy those 36 years ago),

encouraging me through her experience as a Navy Nurse

Who had treated burn victims…

She validated that their pain was unendurable at the time.

Yet the day came when the pain would be forgotten

and she assured me my day would also come..-


The day has come for me -

not forgotten;

but no longer controlling.


I can talk about the experience without reliving every emotion of it now.

And, oh, the love, the inexpressible love expressed to me,

throughout their lifetimes,

of Dick and Arene.


And their bouncing 4 year old curly red haired daughter’s love

follows me to the present hour!!


So there’s a start for the journey of love that has overcome

in spite of other experiences throughout the years of
